- [Instructor] Okay, these gusset plates are pretty insane. I'd never try to model one on my own. Let's take a look. In Revit, let's go to Open... I'm going to browse in my Chapter 13 and grab my Gusset model. Now I'm going to click Open. Let's go to Level 2. In here, I want to make a framing elevation, so on the View tab, let's click the Elevation drop-down, and let's go to Framing Elevation. I'm going to select gridline 2, and there's my elevation. I'm going to double-click on elevation 1A. I'm going to set my detail level to Fine. I'm going to select my crop region, and I'm going to pull it out, just so I can see the whole elevation. Now I'm going to hit Escape. Now I'm going to go to the Structure tab. I'm going to go to "Brace". Instead of the W Shape 12X26, I'm going to grab HSS6X6X1/2. I'm going to pick the endpoint of the analytical plane of my bottom beam, pick the midpoint of the top beam. I'm going to do the same over here on the left. I'm going to bring one straight down…
