Adding legend views
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to create a legend view. A legend view is just simply a special kind of drafting view where you can graphically define the different types of elements that you're using in your project. So you could use it for a wall types legend, or a door types legend, things like that. So I'm going to create a door types legend in this project here and use it to create a representation of each kind of door that I'm using. So to do that, I need to start with creating a new legend view. So I'll go to the view tab, and click the legends drop down and choose the legend option. This will ask for a name, and I will type in door types legend and accept the default scale and click okay. Now if you look at the project browser, this created a new view here on the legends branch, called door types legend and of course on screen, we've got this blank, empty sheet of paper now.
