Adding legend views
- [Instructor] In this video we're going to create a graphical legend to represent each of the door types within our project. To do so, we're going to use a special drafting view type called a legend view and then take advantage of a special component called legend components. So let's take a look at the process here. So I want to go to the view tab and click the legends drop down and choose legend. This will ask me for a name. So you can type in anything you like. I'm going to type door types and you can choose any scale, but I'll accept the default of 1:50 and click OK. This will create a blank view, this is very much like a drafting view. So it's not connected to anything in the model and you could draw anything you want here. Now if I scroll down in the project browser, you're going to see a legends branch and if I expand that you'll see there's our door types legend. Now here in the door types legend I'm going to go to the annotate tab next and there's a little component drop…
