Adding materials by paint

- [Instructor] The other way you can apply a material to a surface is by actually painting the materials onto it. What this does, it does not make a permanent change to the composition of the material. It essential takes a texture map or an image or anything that you've pulled into your Material Library and applies it to the surface. So here's what I mean by that. I'm gonna go to the Manage ribbon and I'm gonna click on my Materials Library and I'm gonna make sure that I have all the materials that I want to use when I'm going to now start applying materials to a surface. If I don't I'm gonna add them in really quick and I'm just gonna do a really fast one. I'm gonna add in a paint, so I'm gonna click on Paints and Coatings, it's already in here. I'm gonna do a duplication. And I decided that I want to do a blue paint so I'm just gonna change the info here and we'll do a light blue or a coastal blue, we'll say.
