- [Speaker] In this video, we're going to continue working on our two bedroom condominium unit, and we're going to place several different fixtures and other items. Now all of these items are going to fall under the cache. All of component families in Revit. So there are several dedicated buttons on the ribbon as we've already scene. We had our dedicated Door and Window buttons, and you would go to those tools when you wanted to place items of that category. But when you want to place plumbing fixtures, or casework, or furniture, or lighting fixtures, or specialty equipment, all of those items are going to be grouped under the generic component tool. Now the keyboard shortcut for this is C-M. And when I first click the tool and look at my type selector, I don't really have anything very useful currently loaded. I've got a piece of furniture, a parking space, and a tree. None of those are items that I want to currently place.…
