Adding schedule views

- [Instructor] In this video we're going to add a schedule to our project. Now a schedule is a tabular view of your model, but it's still a live view much like floor plans, elevations, and sections. So if we think about what elevations and floor plans do, they just look at your model from a particular vantage point and draw the elements that they find within the view range or within the region that the elevation or section includes. What a schedule does is it limits its search to a particular category. We're going to do furniture in this example, and then it gathers up all of the furniture and it just lists it out in the table, but what both of those things have in common is that they're both live views of the model. No one view can show you everything there is to know about your model in a Revit project. So by using a combination of views, floor plans, elevation sections, schedules, you get a more complete picture. So let's go ahead and generate a furniture schedule view here and…
