Adding slanted walls
- [Instructor] I want to spend a little time with slanted walls in this video. So, this is a feature of walls that allows them to be non-vertical. I've got a really empty floor plan here and to create a slanted wall, it's just the wall tool. So, we'll click the wall tool or type W + A. And I'm going to accept the default generic eight inch wall but change one or two properties here on the properties palette. I want to set the height up to top constraint of level two. And then, of course we said we wanted slanted walls, to get there, you need to change this cross section parameter from vertical to slanted. That will then make the angle from vertical parameter available, which can be either a positive or a negative number. I'm going to put in positive 10. Now, generally speaking, a positive number will slope in toward the building and a negative number will slope out and away from the building. But, of course, every…
