Adding steel columns to the model

- [Voiceover] With a structural grid in place, editing columns is going to be a snap. Let's start by jumping in to Structure_07 and let's go down to level one structural plan. Let's add some columns. Let's go to the Structural tab and I'm going to click on the column button right here. This is the structural column button so go ahead and click that. Now what we're going to do is we're going to add a column. Now this item right here is called the type selector drop-down so what I'm going to do is I'm gonna click the drop-down here and see what we got. We've got a couple concrete, we've got a couple W shapes. If we want to load another type of column, we can go ahead and do that. So let's go over to our mode panel and let's click on load family. Now be careful don't go to columns cause these are achitectural columns these don't help us at all. We're going to scroll down til we find structural columns.
