- [Instructor] I'd like to add a seated plate with this one. So, I'll have a concrete wall, and some beams extending into it. Under Projects, I'm going to go Open. I'm going to Browse to where I'm keeping my Exercise files, and I'm going to grab my Concrete model in Chapter-13. Or if you have another model you want to use, go right ahead. Let's click Open. Here we have a typical beam pocket situation. With this extended into it. So let's put a plate in here. First though, we need to go to Structure, we need to go to our Connection settings, and we need to grab one. So under Connection Groups, I'll go All Connections. I'm going to grab my Embed Beam Seat. I'm going to scroll all the way down to the bottom. I'm going to click Add. I'm going to click OK. Now that that's in there, I'm going to zoom in over to this area here. I'm going to select my beam. Hold down my Control key and select my wall. I'm going to go to my Structure tab. Let's click Connection. On the Properties dropdown…
