Adding surface patterns to glazing

- [Instructor] I often get the request for how to customize the glazing material of windows and other glazed elements in the model. So sometimes, it's desirable to have windows in non-rendered views display a little bit differently. Sometimes folks like to use a nice dark gray pattern or apply some other sort of hatch pattern. So let me just show you a few of those techniques here. Now I'm working in a very simple file for this purpose, and the only window that I'm using is the out-of-the-box fixed window family. But I do have several different types of that family loaded in the file. So right here is a 24 by 48, and I'm going to select it. And the simplest thing that we could do is just apply a surface pattern to that material so that instead of rendering just transparent, it actually starts to render with some sort of a pattern.
