Adding symbols

- In this video we're going to create some architectural symbols. Now, architectural symbols are sort of a catchall for any annotation that's common architectural graphic that want to add to the views within your project. Now, I'm going to work here in a floor plan, but you can add symbols to any views and they can represent anything. Now the symbol tool is on the annotate tab and it's over here. And you could see the tool tips as it places a 2D annotation drawing symbol in the current view and there's some examples there, a bar scale or a North arrow. And if I click the symbol tool, this particular file has two families loaded a center line and a North arrow. So these are some common examples that the symbol tool would be useful for. Let's start with this North arrow. I'll kind of place it down here in the lower right hand corner. It's pointing straight up, and if North was up, then we could just simply place it…
