Adjusting inserts that do not adjust to wall thickness correctly

- [Instructor] In last weeks tip, I talked about unlocking wall layers, and the reason for doing that was I had a furring strip in dry wall layer, on the inside of the wall construction that I didn't want to go the full height of the wall. And so, I was able to go into the wall type and unlock those two layers so that they get this little grip control here, and that allows me to adjust the location of just those two internal layers independently of the wall itself. But, when you cut sections in other locations of the model, such as this location right here, you discover that solution to one problem may create new problems of its own. And in this case, the problem that that has exposed, is that this insert in the wall, this is a window that's actually a Louver Window. This Louver, is not sensing where those layers have been decoupled, and instead is sensing the entire thickness of the wall. And so, the frame here…
