Applying hatching to the edges of system families

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to share with you a brand new features that's in Revit 2019.1, and that's the ability to apply hatch patterns to the edges of system families, like walls, and floors, and roofs, and so on. So, I've got a floor, here, and a couple walls, and these are just out of the box system families, generic brick in this case, and a wood joist floor in this case, and what we're going to do is apply hatch patterns along those edges. Now, in order to do this, you need 2019.1, so if you don't have the latest release of Revit, you definitely want to check it out. There's a lot of great new features in there, and worth your time to take a look at that. Let's start by zooming in, nice and close, here, on the top edge of this wall, and then I'll go to the modify tab and click my paint tool, or P + T is the keyboard shortcut.
