Applying materials
- [Instructor] I have my unit put together, but all of my pieces are still the same. And the way that you will know that they are is if you click down in visual graphics and you click on Shaded, everything is gray. That may be how you want this to look, but you still need to give it a material to go with it. So we now need to take some time to apply material to a few things. The first thing I want to apply material to are my glass shelves. So I'm going to go through and I'm going to click on my shelves. And I'm going to actually come over here to my Properties box and I'm going to click where it says Materials and Finishes. And right now it's set to something called by Category. What I can do is I can actually just decide that I want just this one to have this glass material, and here's how you do this. You click inside the ellipses of the material itself, and it opens up the Material Browser. Right now it's set to a default 'cause we haven't really created anything. Glass is already…
