Attaching walls to roofs
- [Instructor] In this video I want talk about the attach top and base command. This is a feature of walls that allow it to attach the top edges or the bottom edges to other geometry. So in this case, you can see that we have these big gaps at the top of our walls relative to the roofs above them and it might nice to fill those in with the walled geometry. So, attach top and base is a really handy way to do that. So you could certainly do this one wall at a time by selecting a wall, the attach top and base tool would appear right here and then it would prompt you to select the roof or the floor or the ceiling, and you would simply select the object and it would attach to it and then of course if I change my 3D view you can see that it did a really nice job of going up there and attaching to the underside of that roof. Now, I'm going to undue that because there's a quicker, maybe more efficient way to do that…
