Attaching walls to roofs

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about the attach top and base command. This is a feature of walls that allow it to attach the top edges or the bottom edges to other geometry. So in this case, you can see that we have these big gaps at the top of our walls relative to the roofs above them and it might be nice to fill those in with the wall geometry. So attach top and base is a really handy way to do that. So you could certainly do this one wall at a time by selecting the wall. The attach top and base tool would appear right here. And then it would prompt you to select the roof for the floor or the ceiling and you would simply select the object and it would attach to it. And then of course, if I change my 3D view, you can see that it did a really nice job of going up there and attaching to the underside of that roof.
