- [Instructor] With the 3D portion of the ball valve created, we can now add connectors and break it into a pipe. In Revit, under Families, let's go Open. Browse where you're keeping your exercise files, and in chapter five I have this 05_01_Ball Valve that we just made, click Open. Let's go to a 3D view, if you're not already. Let's go to the Create tab, lets click on Pipe Connector. Come over here and find the face of this. If you hit tab a couple times you can tab around, just make sure you hit the face. Pick it. Looks good to me, okay. Now go ahead and select your connector element. For the diameter, we're going to associate the family parameter. We're going to associate that, obviously, with Pipe Size, click OK, perfect. Flow Configuration can be calculated, Flow Direction can be bi-directional, we can have Not Defined loss method and the system classification, we're going to change that 'cause we don't know…
