Change the default viewport type for sheets

- [Instructor] This week I wanna talk about an interesting little issue that comes up when you're dragging and dropping viewports onto sheets. You could have multiple viewport configurations but Revit will always use the same default configuration regardless. This is different than other behaviors in Revit so you may know that if you're drawing walls, for example, and you're drawing with a certain kind of wall and you change the type during that process that when you exit out of that command, later that will become the new default. So it's very easy to change the default wall type or door type or really anything else but not so with viewports. Let me demonstrate what I mean. We've got a sheet open here and let's say I wanna add a view to this sheet. So I'm gonna take this lobby plan right here and drag and drop it and with any other kind of object in Revit, I would be able to go over here to the properties palette on…
