- [Instructor] This one's a cool feature.…We can actually grab two parameters and combine them.…The objective of this video is…to grab a width and length parameter…and make them read in one cell.…If you're following along with the data sets,…go to Open.…Browse where you're keeping your Exercise Files,…Grab Structural-Combine, or grab…any model you want to combine some parameters in.…Click Open.…
And this one, I'm going to go find…a predefined schedule they already have in here.…I'm going to go into my Structural Foundation Schedule.…I'm not digging the name of it,…so I'm going to right click on it and rename it.…I'm going to call it, I'm going to call it…FOOTING SCHEDULE cause that just looks better.…Now, in my Properties over here…I'm going to click Edit on Fields.…
I'm going to get rid of Description,…I don't really want that in there.…But now what I'm going to do is…I'm going to click on Combine Parameters…and that will open up this dialog.…For the name, I'm going to call it SIZE, all caps.…And then I'm going to grab Length.…
