- [Instructor] Concrete takeoffs are pretty popular. I'm actually surprised this type of schedule doesn't come with the default. The trick is to get all of the foundations and all of the foundation walls in one shot. So let's see how we're going to do that. Under Projects I want to go to Open. I'll grab Structural Concrete and then I'll click Open here. Now let's go to View. We'll go to Schedules, we'll go to Material Takeoff. I'd like to use a multi-category takeoff, but in the name I'll call it Concrete Takeoff. Now I'll click OK. So what I want to do is I want to scroll down. The first thing I'll do is actually grab Family and Type. I'm going to add that. Now I want to scroll down to Material. Let's grab Material Name first. Add that. Love that area, let's add that. And the volume, let's add that. The next thing I want to do is I want to go to the Filter tab. I want to filter by material name, equals Concrete, Cast-in-Place gray.
