- In this video, I want to talk about what is perhaps the most important thing you'll do in your work in Revit, and that is saving your file. So of course, you're going to want to get in the habit of saving regularly. It's the only way to ensure that you preserve all of your work. So I'm working in a file that we created in the previous video, and I'm going to go right to the file menu, highlight, save as, and then project. And there's a few interrelated things that I want to discuss here. Now, there is the location of my current file on my desktop. And I'm using save as here because I want to access this options button. Now you would use save as typically when you want to relocate the file or give it another name but you also use it when you want to access the options for that file.
