- [Instructor] This week I have a technique to share with you that is kind of a workaround that came about when a client asked me about adding a custom parameter to a view reference. And sadly, it didn't really solve exactly what they were trying to do, but the solution I came with I thought had some utility and I would share it with you just the same. So perhaps, it might meet a need that you're currently working on. So let me kind of lay out what we're going to do here. I've got a file here that has some match lines. So if we kind of look at the views here, we're going to be working on level two. Here's the overall level two floor plan. And you can see it's this kind of larger building here where this is the east wing of the building and this is the west wing of the building over here. And so those are on two different sheets. And right about here where they come together, there's the match line and you've got these two view references. Now, view references are similar to elevation…
