Create a door signage family: Geometry

- [Instructor] Now let's add some geometry to this family. From the create tab, I'm going to create an extrusion. I'm going to click to set the work plane, and because I name my reference planes, I can pick mounting height from the list of names. This'll ensure that the geometry will move with the associated reference planes. I can use the pick line tool, make sure to check lock, and pick the reference planes that I've already drawn. Then if I trim the rectangle together, I can create an extrusion on my sign. If I click the green checkbox to finish, I can go to elevation and align the bottom reference plane with the top of my geometry and lock it. Now when I change the height, the extrusion will move with it. I'm going to select the extrusion, and I'll set the material parameter to be SignMaterial1. Now I'm going to add some model text to this sign. On the create tab, I can set my work plane, and under name, I'm going to pick front of sign. If I click okay, now I can click on the…
