Create a door signage family: Setup
- [Instructor] To make the signage family, I'll start by adding the parameters I need through the family types menu. I'm going to add a type base height parameter as well as a type base width parameter and a type base thickness parameter. These will be the dimensions of my song. I'm gonna add another type base parameter but it's going to control the location of the sign. I'll call this offset from door. I'm gonna add another parameter, this one's gonna be a length parameter but an instance based parameter and I'm gonna name it wall width. I'll use dynamo to set this parameter to match the door that's the location of the sign with its hotes wall thickness. I'll add another instance based length parameter. We're gonna name this door width. We'll use dynamo to set this parameter based on the door width that the sign's located at.
