- [Narrator] In this video, we're going to look at the process of linking two Revit files together. It's very easy to take one Revit project, and bring it into another Revit project, and it will come in as a link. What will happen then, is if any changes happen to the original project, you just simply reload the link, and you'll see the latest changes in your host project. Now, there's a few different scenarios where you'll choose to do this. One very common scenario is when you're coordinating with other disciplines. So, if you're the architect, and you have your host model, you might want to link in the structure, or the MEP, or the fire protection models in order to coordinate with those disciplines. Another common scenario is when you have more than one building in the same site. So, you'll have one building in one Revit file, and a second building in the other Revit file, and you can link them together for coordination purposes as well.
