Creating a casework family
- [Instructor] To start a new Casework family, I'll first go to my Families, and then select on New. Then, I'll look for the kind of family that I want, in this case for Casework; and we can see that there is an option here for Casework that's currently available. Now if for some reason you don't have the option for Casework, what you can do is go into your Exercise Files folder, then go to Chapter Nine; and from there, you'll find a Casework family template that you can use. Then click on Open. Inside of this new Casework family, you'll see that there's already a variety of views and we see each of those views underneath the project browser. And if we come up to Family Category and Parameters, underneath the create tab on the ribbon, we'll notice that Casework is highlighted and that's how it knows that this is a Casework family and it should be scheduled and tagged as a Casework family. Now, click on Okay. What I want to do now is save this family, basically give it a name. So come…
