Creating a column schedule
- [Voiceover] You are about to find out that Revit keeps track of everything. Remember that column offset, Revit seems to know exactly what your doing, What I want to do here is explore just how Revit creates a Column Schedule. So, to do that, I'm going to go to my Level 1 structural plan. Now, I'm gonna go down to my View tab. and I'm going to click on my Schedules dropdown, and I'm going to click on Graphical Column Schedule. It creates my schedule automatically. So, here is all our columns in the schedule. It takes about two seconds. What I want to do though is I want to look at some of the properties of this. So, under Visibility/Graphics Overrides, I'm going to click on Edit. Notice that I can show anything that I would typically show in a plan. I'm going to hit Cancel. I want to scroll down till I find Grid Appearance, and I'm going to click on Edit. Now, I can adjust my grid appearance right here. It looks ok for all of these items, but I want to go to Text Appearance. I like…
