Creating an enlarged floor plan
- [Instructor] Often in architectural communication you'll find the need to enlarge a portion of a view in order to provide more detail and more explanation in a certain area. Now, we can do that in floor plans, elevations, or sections and we can do that using a call-out tool. So in this video, I'm going to demonstrate the use of a call-out here in the floor plan, and I'm going to enlarge the dining room area so that we can focus in on that and make a dedicated dining room plan. So I'm in the level one floor plan to start off with here, and I'll go over to the view tab. And the call-out tool has two options, rectangle and sketch. So if the call-out you need is a simple rectangular shape, you can choose that option. I'm going to choose sketch because that allows me to make a custom shaped call-out.
