Creating an exit sign annotation
- Here's another two video process. Very similar to the nightlight deal we just did. It's the same idea in the fact that we're going to create a symbol for our plan, then we're going to load it into another 3-D model. What we're going to do here though, is we're going to have a lot of visibility parameters. So let's get started by modeling the exit sign annotation first and in the second video we're going to model the actual 3-D exit sign. So in Revit under families, let's go to new. Let's go to annotations. Let's go down to generic annotation. Let's click open. Now the first thing we want to do is rotate with component and keep text readable. Then of course, we want to delete this little text note. So click it, hit delete. Okay. Let's create a circle. On the create tab let's click on line. Let's click on circle.
