Creating a key schedule

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to introduce you to a Key Schedule. Now a Key Schedule is a special kind of Revit schedule that's designed to assist you with data input. So let me frame the problem that I'm trying to solve here with a key schedule. What I have is this three storey building here and all of its space is listed in a room finish schedule here and as I scroll through this, you're going to see that level one has 36 rooms, scroll down a little further, level two has 67 rooms, and there's another 67 on level three for a total of 170 rooms. Now, 170 may not seem like a really huge quantity, but it's big enough quantity that I don't want to have to manually fill in all of the data for all 170 rooms. Couple that with the fact that there's actually four different items here that I would want to fill in, floor base, wall and ceiling and it's actually quite a bit of typing otherwise.
