Creating a light switch annotation
- [Instructor] Now that we have a light switch plate model, it's good to model an annotation, that way we can see it schematically in plan. We can see it in 3D and elevation. To create a schematic light switch annotation under Families, let's go New. Let's go up to Annotations. Let's go to Generic Annotation, click Open. First thing I want to do is zoom in here and just select this note and hit delete. Now let's go to our Create tab. Let's click on Line, on the Draw panel I'm going to click on Start End-Radius Arc. I want to come up a little bit maybe come up, let's say 3/16 of an inch. I want to come down. I want to type in 1/16 of an inch at the first part of my arc here. I want to come down a little bit more. We're going down 1/16 of an inch again. I'm going to go this way. Perfect. Now it's a little high so we can just select our arcs.
