Creating a lighting plan
- Creating a lighting plan is pretty much the same as creating a power plan, only the voltage is going to be different. In this video I'd like to create a lighting circuit by adding a panel and some lighting fixtures. First I want to coordinate with mechanical. Under models let's go open. Grab my 01 08, click open. Now under electrical lighting, I'm going to double click on ceiling elec 1 under ceiling plans. Now I wannna place some lights, but I'm not going to go in blind here. So I'm going to right click on 1 ceiling elec, duplicate view. I just want to simply duplicate it. I'm going to call this one ceiling coordination. Maybe put a space in there, hit enter. Now I want to go to my visibility graphics, but let me make sure we're not appended to a view template which we're not. So type VG for visibility graphics.
