Creating a power panel
- With the actual panel box created, we can now host it in a face-based family. The objective of this video is to load in our panel and create an if then statement to recess that puppy. In Revit under families, let's go new. Scroll down till we find generic model face based. Select that's, let's click open. Now the first thing I want to do is let's go to family, category and parameters. Let's make sure it's electrical equipment. Part type will be panel board. We can have a different panel configurations to column circuit across. I like that best. So let's click okay. All right. Now the next thing I want to do is bring in our family. So let's go to insert. Let's go to load family. Browser chapter two, let's grab zero two zero five panel box. Let's click open. Now, go to the create tab. Let's click the component button. Now we can bring our panel right in and snap it to those cross arrows. Hit escape a few…
