- [Instructor] Let's make a pump! Under families, let's go new. Scroll down till we find generic model. Let's click open. On the properties panel, let's go to family category and parameters. I want to make this mechanical equipment. Let's click okay. Yeah, let's make some reference planes, dimension them and add some parameters. Let's right click on this reference plane and create similar. On the draw panel, we'll click on pick lines. For the offset, we'll go one foot. Offset it to the right one foot. Let's offset it two foot six to the left. Hit escape a couple of times. Let's click on the align dimension button. From point here to here. Pick a point off of it, let's pick a point here to here. Pick a point right here. On the one foot dimension, let's select it. Let's click on create parameter. Let's call it head length. We can give it a type parameter, click okay. Skip a couple of times on the two foot six.…
