Creating sweeps
- Sweeps are actually pretty cool and they work cool as well. Essentially, we can add a sweep to either a 3D edge or a sketch of our own. If the sweep is appended to an object that is parameter driven, the sweep will actually flex along with the object. It's pretty cool. What I'd like to do in this video is build off of our box. We're going to put kind of a gooseneck sweep on the top of it. Then we're going to put a flange around it. It's under families. Let's go to open. Browse through where you keep your exercise files. Go to chapter one, grab zero one zero nine sweeps and click open. Now let's go to our front elevation in the project browser. With the set of five feet, that's fine. I want to create another five foot reference plane up and a five foot, one over to the right. So let's right click on this reference plane, go to create similar.
