Creating wall sweeps and reveals

- [Instructor] We have two very powerful tools that allow us to customize the geometry of our walls, and that is sweeps and reveals. So sweeps are additive, and reveals are subtractive. So in both cases, you're going to use a profile family, which is just a simple two dimensional shape, it has to be some enclosed shape, and then you going to move that shape along the length of the wall. And if it's a sweep, it will add geometry to the wall. And if it's a reveal, it'll carve away from the wall, almost like a cutting tool. We can add both of these at either the type or the instance level. So if you added the type level, it will affect all instances of that wall type. And of course, if you do it at the instance level, it'll be wall by wall. So I want to show you both methods, and both sweeps and reveals. So let's go ahead and get started here.
