- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at two really useful tools that allow us to customize the geometry of our walls. And those are sweeps and reveals. Sweeps will add geometry to the surface of the wall and reveals will cut away from the surface of your walls. Now, what sweeps and reveals have in common is that they both follow along a path, which is the length of the wall, and then they use a profile which is a 2D shape that can be virtually any shape you like but that 2D shape would be moved along the length of the wall and create this 3D geometry. So here's just several different examples of some profiles that are included with the out-of-the-box library. So let's jump into our Revit project here and I'm going to focus on the exterior walls for this example. So I've got this brick wall right here and I'll select it.
