- [Instructor] This week I want to to talk about artificial lighting. Recently in the series, we looked at the realistic visual style and talked about how it will display artificial lighting directly in the view port if you're using the latest release of Revit . Well, I thought I would talk about the two ways that you can control artificial lighting in this video this week. So I've got examples of both right here on screen. One is to actually just create light sources and so all those light fixtures on the back wall there are lighting fixture families that have a light source in them. And the lights on the ceiling are also light fixtures. They do have a light source in them, but they're also using an emissive material to give you that long white glow there. So to get that effect is actually an effect of the materials. So we're going to work with this desk lamp here in the middle. And I've isolated it and the surface…
