Data.Gate node

- [Instructor] The last generative design specific node that we'll be learning about in Dynamo is the data.gate node. This node allows us to control flow between elements in our generative design scripts. I currently have the Revit and Dynamo exercise files open for this lesson. The Dynamo file is the three box massing study sample provided by Autodesk. The data.gate node is found in the generative design tab of the node library, and then the data section and here we have the gate node. This script, however, has already placed one of these nodes in the integrate section of the script, which is found in the bottom right. Here we have this data.gate node. The gate node is similar to a Boolean toggle in that it has two states, either open or closed. If it is set open, then data that is input to the node will be passed through an output and if it's closed, then the data won't be passed through. We can test this by hitting run…
