Dealing with fittings
- [Instructor] Pipe fittings. The hardest thing to do in all of Revit from scratch that's for sure. All right. So I'm going to go back to when I made that boot. Essentially, I look at it like this, every fitting that Revit has for us is a potential template. Let's take a look at a generic fitting. Let's open up our MEP model. I'm just going to zoom in here. I am actually in my mechanical ceiling plan one ceiling MEP. So I'm going to go to Systems. I'm going to go to Pipe. And the Pipe Type, I'm just going to draw a standard pipe type. A point here, a point here, and I'm going to pick a point here. Just skip a couple of times. Look at that fitting pretty boring, right? So let's select the fitting. Let's click Edit Family. It's nothing here, but if you look at it, you'll see there's a simple sweep. And then you look at these black lines. So if we go to Views, go to Floor Plans. Let's go to Ref Level. If…
