Designing healthcare facilities in an uncertain time

- [Instructor] This course was designed to get different perspectives from architecture, MEP, and visualization. The idea is to present a healthcare-type facility and what can go into setting up a BIM model for designing the new normal. If you have basic Revit knowledge and basic Navisworks knowledge, I think you will find this course quite useful. This course is brought to you from the perspective of a person who has over twenty years in the industry in the engineering, architectural, and training capacity. Each video is kept to a reasonable length, drills immediately into the specifics, and is as precise and succinct as possible. Hi, I'm Eric Wing. In this LinkedIn learning course, I'll bring you through a basic healthcare facility, we'll explore how to create coding information such as wall fire rating, space information, color schemes, and travel path and egress studies. From there we'll take a look at adding global settings to a facility in Revit, which we'll control personal protection equipment guidelines automatically PPE. From there, we'll look at adding HVAC to examine room spaces using HEPA Air Filtration. After that, we'll look at bringing it all together in Navisworks to harvest the PIM data as well as animate ingress and egress. If you're ready to learn how to best set up BIM for a new normal on healthcare design, I'm ready to show you.
