- [Instructor] This week I want to talk about filters. Now I'm going to briefly go over what filters are, and how to create one, but I'm going to end with a new feature in Revit 2021 that allows us to enable and disable filters within a view. So it's a really handy, and powerful feature that we now have in Revit 2021. Everything else I'm going to show you would apply to any version of Revit. All right, so what's a filter? I like to think of a filter as sort of somewhere between a category level override and an object level override. So what do I mean by that? Well, you're no doubt aware that you've got visibility graphics. And we go to the view, and we can click visibility graphics, or you can type VG. And then here in this dialogue, you've got a list of all your categories, and you can do whatever you want to that entire category.
