- [Eric] This course was designed to get right into the details of how to create MEP families in Revit. Each video is kept to a reasonable length, drills immediately into the specifics and is as precise and succinct as possible. We will look at the best practices for creating good, flexible data rich families. In this LinkedIn learning course, I'll start with an explanation of the different types of families, parameters, and 3D shapes. From there, we'll look at creating families for electrical power. Then we'll jump into families for lighting fixtures and switches. After that, we'll jump into mechanical HVAC, then finally mechanical piping and generic annotations. Hi, I'm Eric Wing.
