Exporting to AutoCAD
- [Instructor] You will sometimes find yourself collaborating with folks who do not use Revit. And in cases like that, you might need to export your Revit work to another file format. And perhaps the most popular format to do that with is AutoCAD's DWG. So in this video, we're going to look at the process of exporting some DWG files from our Revit model. Now, I'm beginning this process in a sheet view but it's not necessary that you work from a sheet. You can open up any view on your project browser before you go to export. Now to get to export, you're going to find that on the file menu. You're going to highlight the export option here and that will display a sub menu with many choices. And I encourage you to explore some of the other options later, if you wish but I'm going to go up here to CAD formats and choose DWG.
