Exporting schedules
- [Instructor] Well not everyone has the ability to be in Revit. So, sometimes when you need to export our schedules to an Excel spreadsheet form. That's okay, it's pretty easy to do. Let's go in Revit, let's click Open for Projects. I'm going to go to my Chapter four. I'm going to open up my structural export. Of course, you can open any model that you want to export a schedule from. Let's click Open. Now the trick is that to have the schedule open that you want to export. So if you didn't open up to concrete takeoff by default that's okay. Scroll down in your Project Browser. And make sure that you go into schedules quantities and you're in concrete takeoff. Now if I go to my File tab I go to Export. We scroll down, and they kind of hide it on ya. Let's go to Reports. Let's go to Schedule. So my file name is concrete takeoff dot TXT. I'm going to hit Save. I like to just export it all. Click Okay. Now I'm going to open up Excel. And I'm going to go to Open. I'm going to browse. I'm…
