Find boundaries of Revit Curtain Panels

- [Instructor] According to our roadmap our first mini problem is to find the location point on each Curtain Panel family element, so that we can measure the distance between these points and an attractor point. Let's get started by opening a new session of Dynamo. Before we can get the Curtain Panel locations we need to first gather the Revit panel elements into lists in Dynamo. To collect these Curtain Panel families let's use the All Elements of Family Type node, which we covered in the last chapter. This node can be found in the Revit Selection section of the node Library, along with the Family Types node. Let's drop one of each onto our workspace. I'll find the Curtain Panel typical type in our pull-down and then connect our node to the All Elements of Family Type. I'll also drop in a Watch node, so that we can see the elements that we've collected. Good, it looks like we've collected nothing but Curtain Panel family instances.
