- [Instructor] So now we come to schedules, the power of BIM. So, to get started, let's start thinking about our foundations. We're going to make what's called a footing schedule. But Revit thinks of it as a foundation schedule. That kind of screws us up, because it's going to add all of this stuff when all we really want to do is isolate our footings. Let me show you how to do that. The first thing I want to do is make a footing type. So I'm going to select this footing. I'm going to hold down Control, and I'm going to select this footing. I'm going to click on Edit Type. Now, I want to duplicate. I want to make this three six by three six by one foot dash six inches. And I want to click OK. I want to scroll down to Type Mark. And I want to call this F2. The only footings that will be F2 are these two that we have selected. I want to click OK. I want to hit Escape a couple times. Now what I'd like to do is come over to this footing, select it. I want to click on Edit Type. I want to…
