- [Instructor] So let's take a tour of the Revit user interface. Now to do this, you want to have a project file open. I have the basic sample architectural project loaded on my screen. You're welcome to load the same. It comes with the software. If you don't have a copy of it, I've provided one with the exercise files or you can just open any project file you like because all we're going to do is explore the user interface. It doesn't really matter which file is open. So let's start at the top left-hand corner of the screen and talk about the quick access toolbar or QAT. So this is just a bank of icons that are available with really standard commands like New, Open, Save, Print, and you can even customize it and add your own icons to it if you wish. So it's just really a shortcut bar for frequently used commands. Now on the opposite side at the top of the screen is the helping utilities icons. And this includes buttons…
