- With staying in our Revit 2020 model, our '1031 SE Madison-SAMPLE PROJECT'. And as you can see we've still got the imported CAD file sitting there. What I have done is I've tweaked the elevation markers so they're in the right places and I can still select my imported CAD file. And you can see it's called an 'Import Symbol' so it's like one big symbol in the Revit model. And you'll notice, like I said, you can delete the layers. You can also explode if you want to. So you can explode it all to lines and elements and so on. Not something I would recommend but it can be done. That's especially useful if you're doing drafting and details in Revit from existing CAD details that you might bring in from DWG files for example. You can also query here as well. So I can query something I can click on that and it'll tell me what it is. It's a block and what layer it's on and so on. So there's a lot of information in there that you…
