Hiding and isolating objects in a model

- There are times when you need to hide things to get them out of your way, or because they don't need to be displayed in a particular view. So, in this video I want to show you a couple different ways to do that. So, I'm going to start with the temporary hide tool, which is a really wonderful and useful tool for editing. And we can use that to just get things out of the way, perform a task, and then restore the view. And then I'll also show you how to hide things more permanently. So, let's say that in this 3D view that I want to do some work on these foundation walls down here. And while it is possible to kind of select them, I can't really see what I'm doing because this sight plan model is in the way. So, this is a great job for temporary hide.
